An interesting account of Auburn's 1957 National Title

An interesting story graced my inbox this morning courtesy of "Google Alerts: Auburn Tigers"

It seems that this article is claiming that Auburn won the National Championship in 1957 due to a "loophole" in the AP voting system, and that the AP office in New York was essentially spammed with votes for Auburn to be #1 in the poll after defeating Alabama 40-0.

Yesterday I was in the garden area of Wal-Mart and EVERYONE was talking, with great expectation and excitement, about the fact that it had just started snowing in New York.

We don't live in New York. We live in Florida and it is 84 degrees outside... but it is snowing in New York.
